Information you choose to share
Project inquiries require your name, company, email, category, equipment or project type, location, and description. General contact requires your name, email, and message; company and phone are optional. Attachments, timing, and guided planning details are optional.
Do not include sensitive personal information in project drawings or attachments. Installation partners can begin without naming their customer.
How inquiries are used and delivered
IMH uses your information to evaluate and respond to the inquiry, discuss a project, and provide related follow-up. Submitted inquiries and attachments are delivered through the website’s WordPress hosting mail service to sales@imhsystems.com.
Large files sent through Send large files are uploaded separately to IMH’s Dropbox account. Dropbox processes the files and the identifying details you enter on its upload page. IMH uses those details to match drawings and documents to your inquiry. The upload request does not give contributors access to IMH’s folders or other submitted files.
Completed inquiries are retained in the receiving mailbox under IMH’s business record practices. This website does not maintain a separate lead database or customer portal. The hosting and email providers process information as needed to operate those services.
During your visit
Form entries remain in the page while you prepare or revise the inquiry. The form does not save drafts to browser storage. If sending fails, entered information remains on the open page so you can retry or copy it. Reloading or leaving the page can discard those entries.
The website uses technical checks to limit abusive submissions. Hosting and email infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and delivery records.
Optional Google Analytics stays off until you allow it in Privacy preferences. When configured, it measures page visits, planner use, contact-link clicks, and accepted inquiries. Acceptance means the email provider accepted a submission; it is not a qualified sale or proof of inbox receipt. The private preview does not use production analytics.
Measurement excludes inquiry contents, contact details, attachments, project addresses, arbitrary URL query fields and URL fragments. Campaign codes and referring website origins may be measured. With your separate permission, Google Ads uses ad click identifiers, cookies and Google forwarding phone numbers to attribute inquiries and calls to ads. Personalized advertising and enhanced conversions using contact details remain off. Your preference is stored in this browser. You can change it in Privacy preferences; turning measurement off clears accessible measurement cookies and reloads the page to stop collection.
AI website assistant
The optional Ask IMH assistant sends your chat messages and the current page path to OpenAI to generate answers based on published IMH website content. Do not include passwords, payment information, confidential drawings, or sensitive project details.
Chat history stays in memory in the open page. IMH does not save a chat transcript in its website database, and requests ask OpenAI not to store Responses API output. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. AI answers can be inaccurate; confirm technical details directly with IMH. Chat does not submit an inquiry or contact our team.
Confidential project relationships
IMH protects confidential project information shared by customers and installation partners. For partner installations, commercial follow-up goes through the integrator’s team. Publication of identifying project details requires permission.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically create an NDA or separate legal agreement. Project-specific terms can be discussed directly.
