What Is a Power & Free Conveyor?
Power & Free systems operate on two tracks: one continuously powered, and one free-moving. Trolleys attached to the free track can stop, accumulate, or transfer independently—offering next-level control over load movement.
- Power Track: Continuously driven chain system
- Free Track: Allows trolleys to disengage, stop, and switch lanes
- Dog Mechanisms: Engage/disengage loads automatically based on system logic
These systems are often used where flexible routing, buffering, or elevation changes are required mid-process.

System Options & Load Capacities
We offer fully engineered solutions across all track sizes and configurations:
- 3″ Track: Up to 1,500 lbs per carrier
- 4″ Track: Up to 3,000 lbs per carrier
- 6″ Track: Up to 8,000 lbs per carrier for heavy-duty loads
- Inverted Systems: Ideal for clean rooms and bottom-up assembly lines
