Conveyor System Controls

Coordinate overhead conveyors, floor conveyors, and connected equipment with controls planned around the way your production needs to run.

01 / Operating sequence

Coordinate overhead and floor movement.

02 / Equipment interfaces

Define signals, zones, and handoffs.

03 / Startup

Agree testing, handover, and support.

01

One operating sequence across the line.

IMH brings conveyor movement and equipment interfaces into the same planning conversation. Controls can coordinate starts, stops, speeds, routing, accumulation, and transfers across overhead and floor systems.

02

Connect the equipment and the operator.

The application determines the PLC logic, drives, sensors, operator stations, and human-machine interface (HMI).

  • Define operating modes, status indications, and fault messages.
  • Coordinate release signals with upstream and downstream equipment.
  • Plan carrier stops and routing for overhead systems.
  • Coordinate floor-conveyor zones, transfers, and workstation timing.
03

Plan the response to a stop.

Emergency stops, interlocks, safeguarding, and restart behavior belong in the system review. The controls and mechanical design must be evaluated together for the application.

04

Make startup and support part of the scope.

Share existing control platforms, equipment interfaces, and operating sequences. Agree testing, commissioning, operator handover, documentation, and support responsibilities in the project scope.
